Homebiogas
Climate One-Liner
Description
Big Picture
Humans generate a remarkable amount of waste: over 2 billion tons of solid waste are produced annually around the world. 44% of this global waste includes foods and organics. Organic waste in landfills generates methane, a greenhouse gas far more potent than CO2, upon its decomposition. Global food waste is responsible for about 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions.
Climate Impact
HomeBiogas develops ground-breaking, easy-to-use biogas systems, enabling people and businesses to turn their organic waste into self-made clean energy and fertilizer, on-site
HomeBiogas products are built upon a deep understanding of nature and the circular economy. In harmony with the natural processes of the earth, we use smart technology to strengthen the chemical process of anaerobic digestion and turn natural and organic waste into resources.
By producing clean cooking gas, water heating, and organic fertilizer we advance people’s lives. Farmers become independent with their own-grown organic fertilizer, families enjoy their own resilient and sustainable energy source, and businesses benefit from reduced waste treatment and energy costs and decrease their carbon footprint.
