The Israel Innovation Institute, and Consensus Business Group (together shall be referred to as “PLANETech”, “we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to maintaining the privacy of its users (“user”, “you”). PLANETech provides an innovation community for climate change technologies. PLANETech’s missions are to: educate about climate change by sharing knowledge and discovering opportunities; connect - by collaborating with global stakeholders; implement - by using technologies to solve real challenges ("Services"). PLANETech’s Website provides information on PLANETech’s Services and enables its users to contact PLANETech, subscribe to a newspaper, apply to a competition, download resources, and provides a job board, in the field of climate change, which serves companies looking to hire job candidates.
Information from which you can be personally identified may also be collected, including but not limited to your full name, email address, company, content of your inquiry, CV, mobile phone, education, any personal details as part of your job application, LinkedIn profile URL, and the location of the computer through which you used the Website (hereinafter: “Personal Information”). Using Dueto, a third party platform, we will collect your Personal Information when you wish to apply to a job posted on the job board, made available on the Website. Such information includes your full name, phone number, email address, CV, cover photo and other related information regarding your job applications.
c. Downloading Resources
If you wish to download resources provided by PLANETech, such as a report or a tool, we will collect your contact details such as your full name, company name, and email address to provide you with the requested resource.
d. Apply to a Competition
If you wish to apply to one of the open competitions, we will collect your full name, role, email address, LinkedIn profile URL, one pager, website, country, a short description of your company, and other details you choose to share, all in order to review your application.
e. Subscribing to our Newsletter
If you wish to register to our newsletter and be provided with information on our Services, we will collect your email address if you choose to provide it and will send you the required materials.
Use of Information
We use Personal Information we collect from you for a range of different business purposes according to different legal bases of processing. We may use or process your Personal Information for the following purposes. One or more purposes may apply simultaneously.
1. Providing the Requested Services
We collect Personal Information listed in Sections a-d above, to provide you with the Website you contracted to utilize.
Such collection of information will enable us to provide you with technical and professional assistance, with regard our Website.
We process the Personal Information where it is necessary for the adequate performance of the contract regarding the provision of the Website to you.
Additionally, we process the Personal Information you provide when you apply for a job posted on the job board by a third party who we work in cooperation with, where it is necessary for our adequate performance of the contract with such third party.
