Eco-Drive gas-free dispensers dramatically contribute to the reduction of GHG emissions and significantly reduce package waste of dispensers due to the non-pressurised packages which can be made of 100% PCR cardboard, PET, or aluminum, and can easily be refilled. An independent ISO Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) study demonstrated that Eco-Drive delivers 45% lower CO2 footprint when compared to a traditional tinplate, LPG-powered aerosol.
Every year, about 20 billion aerosol products are sold in the world. The annual impact of replacing 10% of such products will save 550,000 tCO2e.
Eco-Drive propellant-free continuous dispensers also reduce air pollution and toxins. All emissions (excluding alcohol) of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) and Non-methane VOC’s (NMVOC’s), commonly used in aerosols, are eliminated. Butane and propane are 2 VOC's contained in over 85% of aerosols that have a global warming potential 3.5 times greater than CO₂.
Eco-Drive is compatible with standard filling equipment whilst saving the gas feed, and can transition the aerosol industry’s supply chain to acleaner, safer and cost-effective production processes.
