CO2SaaS will remove the CO2 from the ocean water there CO2 concentration is much higher than in the air. Specially designed ponds containing microalgae and phytoplankton use the wave and currents energy to circulate the seawater and dump CO2-rich algae directly to the seabed. Microalgae is the fastest growing and the most effective CO2 eater on the planet. The ponds do not use land area or external energy sources, so they are the cheapest way to remove CO2 from the ocean and atmosphere (25 USD/tonne). Each pond is capable of removing 20000 tonnes per year.
